Data Mozart

About

Data Mozart is a personal blog focused on topics related to…data (of course). So, everything related to databases (both relational and non-relational), business intelligence tools and techniques, data integration, data analysis, visualization, etc.

My name is Nikola Ilic and I make music from the data. I’m really passionate about everything related to data. I have multi-year experience working with various flavors of data, predominantly with Microsoft’s BI stack. Therefore, I will write in most cases about Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, SQL Server, T-SQL, Azure, etc. But, since I’m really curious by nature and always trying to learn something new, I will also consider writing about other data-related tools and techniques.

Why Mozart? Since I’m located in wonderful city of Salzburg (Austria), which is worldly known as “City of Mozart”, I was brave enough to use the name of one of all-time greatest composers and artists.

I’m also a Microsoft Data Platform MVP, O’Reilly Author and Instructor, Pluralsight Author, Microsoft Certified Trainer, and certified Fabric Analytics Engineer, Azure Enterprise Data Analyst, Azure Data Engineer, and Power BI Data Analyst.

In my spare time, I love hanging out with my family (wife and two kids) and I also enjoy cooking.

I am also a true football (soccer) and Barça fan!
